FSC, bleaching, and chlorine claims

Read the grammar literally. “No added PFAS” is a seller statement about intentional addition. It is not equivalent to a laboratory report showing that no PFAS were detected, and it does not disclose a test method, detection limit, or range of compounds examined.

Without testing documentation, the accurate wording is: the seller claims that no PFAS are added. It should not be shortened to “PFAS-free.”

Biodegradable and compostable require conditions

Before buying, confirm:

  • Fit: Measure the vessel opening, usable depth, support span, and lid clearance.
